The Calligraphy then adds features like a glass sunroof for first and second-row occupants, nappa leather trim, ventilated front seats and heated rear seats, d's seat memory, head-up display, digital rear-view mirror, solar control heat-reducing windscreen and front door glass, and an in-car sterilisation compartment, which uses UV-C light to sanitise small objects. Not something you usually see in the automotive world.
The Calligraphy also adds in different grille and wheel styling, plus options like a six-seat interior (in place of seven), interior colour options in grey and green or brown (along with standard black), and available matte paint not offered on lower grades. It's clear the Santa Fe Calligraphy has premium aspirations, and it doesn't shy away from them.

The Calligraphy features plush nappa leather seat trim, convincing metal-look trim on the doors and dash, and padded dash and door tops with stitching elements that all look very convincing. Tap the faux-metal pieces, though, and it's clear they're a well-disguised plastic. The wood-look sections of the dash and doors, in a limewash finish with this colour interior, also miss the mark.

The Calligraphy grade gets reclining relaxation seats, that can be tilted back, with a small ottoman that pops up for an in-car recliner. The function can only be used when the vehicle is stopped, and can be handy for a road-trip power nap, but if you have child seats in the rear you may not be able to exploit this function.
